Days 6, 7 & 8: Our 21 Day Detox

Well it's been a whole week, 1 down 2 to go :). It hasn't been easy, but it hasn't been hard either. The first couple days left us feeling tired and having a few headaches. Our energy is now up and we made it through the first weekend. Dr. Josh has lost 6 pounds since starting…and it wasn't do to lack of eating. I have lost 2 inches around my waist and now fit into my skinny jeans! We've completed the actual detox portion, and have changed up the supplements and are now on to the support portion of the detox. This is the part were you start to develop the habit of eating healthier and that way when you are done with the full 21 days you continue to eat better.  There still are toxins leaving your body during the last two weeks, it's just not as intense as the first week.  

The past 3 days we've had some yummy dinners including: lettuce wrapped tacos, butternut squash and herbs, and cauliflower soup with sweet potato chips. As we continue on and finish the remainder two weeks we look forward to even more energy, maybe a few more pounds and inches, and a habit of healthy eating that will continue!
