Days 13-16: Our 21 Day Detox

Week 2 is over…here are some updates on our progress. So Dr. Josh has dropped a total a 9 pounds since starting and his pants are getting looser, I guess it's time to start wearing a belt. I have lost 4 pounds since starting and am enjoying fitting in to my "skinny" jeans. We both have more energy…even with our little man waking us up in the middle of the night as he goes through a growth spurt. Overall it's been a successful 2 weeks and adding meat into what we can eat is like we aren't really detoxing at all, except not being able to have that glass of wine at the end of a hard day :)

(this is what I get for breakfast when Dr. Josh doesn't have to teach…yum) 
So as we approach the end of the detox…and a holiday weekend we will do our best to stick with it until the end.  We do have company coming into town, so if we slip up we apologize. The important thing we want to get across is that detoxing doesn't have to be hard, and the benefits far out weigh any difficulties that might arise, and make it worth doing.
