Nothing really new to report. The detox headaches are gone for the both of us. We still have some moments were a cup of coffee would be fantastic. Especially when it's brought into the office and we can smell that wonderful aroma :) However, the chia seed bars do give us some energy, and they make for a great snack.
We made quinoa stuffed green peppers for dinner tonight. I have to give a shout out to avocado oil…it really makes sautéed veggies have a great taste. I have never used it before, I'm an avid coconut oil user, but decided to give it a try and love it! I've been making kale chips and using it to sauté veggies and it's been really great!
P.S. Dr. Josh did make "fried" bananas last night. He cooked them on the stove top with coconut oil and honey…they were tasty. Even on the detox you can satisfy your sweet tooth!
